Sabina Abdullayeva is a double major in Government and Russian & Post-Soviet Studies. She comes from Kazakhstan and am a native speaker of Russian. She is particularly interested in studying Russian relations with the US.

Maggie Burke is a Russian and Post-Soviet Studies major in the class of 2012. She is from Manassas, Va.
Mari Kathryn Gavin
Class of 2012
Mari Kathryn Gavin graduated from the International Baccalaureate Program in 2008 where she was a member of National Honors Society, Universal Languages Club, and French Honor Society. Mari Kathryn is currently a junior at the College of William and Mary, where she is majoring in Russian and Post Soviet Studies. She has been taking Russian language for two years. This past summer, she participated in the St. Petersburg Study Abroad session. After graduation she plans on entering law school.
Dasha Godunova
Class of 2013
Dasha Godunova is a European Studies Major and a Process Management and Consulting Minor. She is a native speaker of Russian, and as a result, loves being involved in the Russian Department. In the future, she hopes to either go into Government work, International Business, or ideally, live out her dream of traveling the entire world.
Christopher Hart-Moynihan
Class of 2011
Christopher Hart-Moynihan is a senior in the Linguistics and Russian Departments at William & Mary. His academic and research interests include Russian language and history, semantics and semiotics, historical and descriptive linguistics, and musical composition. In his free time, he enjoys distance running, fine dining, and writing about himself.
Kara Kolbe
Class of 2012
Kara Kolbe is a junior at the College of William and Mary. She is majoring in Russian and Post Soviet Studies, and just returned from Saint Petersburg, where she spent six months in a Russian language program. She loves studying the language, history and culture of Russia, and hopes to return again in the future. Outside of her Russian studies, Kara is involved in the Jump! literary magazine and active member in an on-campus service organization.
Jacob Lassin
Class of 2012
Jacob Lassin is originally from South Brunswick, New Jersey. He is currently a junior at the College majoring in Russian and Post-Soviet Studies and Government.
Katie Moody
Class of 2011
Katie Moody is a senior at the College of William and Mary. She is a double major in Russian and Post-Soviet Studies and Government. Her interests include political theory, foreign affairs, and traveling, and she hopes to work with the federal government after graduation.
Ania Oporienko
Class of 2012
Ania originally from Kyiv, Ukraine and grew up in the USA. She is a junior at the College of William and Mary and her major is European Studies. She is interested in art, studying the history and culture of France, animal rights and traveling.
Suzanne Reed

Suzanne Reed is a senior at the College of William and Mary majoring in Economics and Russian and Post-Soviet Studies. She has been increasingly interested in all aspects of Russian culture since she began studying the language in her freshman year at William and Mary.

Will Sinnott is a senior at the College majoring in Russian and Post-Soviet Studies. He is particularly interested in Russian history and the future of Russo-American relations in the 21st century.
